Carleton Place Nursery 2007 Rose Collection

Over the years we have earned a reputation for our wide selection and top quality rose collection. Choose from the following categories of roses:

David Austin Roses - Bred in England and combining the form and texture of old word roses with the colours and fragrances of modern varieties.
• Climbing Roses-Require staking and most will require winter protection in our climate in the Ottawa area
• Explorer Series Roses - Most bred in Ottawa at Central Experimental Farm. Noted for hardiness
• Floribunda Roses - Clusters of blossoms on short stems.
• Flower Carpet Roses - Have been on the market for about 7 or 8 years. This is a series of low growing hardy and disease resistant roses.
• Grandiflora Roses - Clusters of blossoms on longer stems.
• Hybrid Tea Roses - Large single blossoms on long stems
• Miniature Roses - As the name says
• Morden Roses - Hardy roses bred at the Research station at Morden Manitoba.
• Hardy Shrub Roses - Old fashioned hardy bush roses
