Satiny purple-blue, 12-14cm/5-6" flowers with sea-urchin-like, burgundy-red tipped anthers cover the plant from base to tip in June & July, repeating in late August. Great vertical interest, and the swirled fluffy seeds add later season texture. Perfect plant for a container, or growing in a border amongst other plants.
